The role of the CDNT is to provide assessment, support and intervention for children with complex disability needs
Our Children’s Disability Network Teams deliver services throughout Carlow, Kilkenny, South Tipperary, Waterford and Wexford.
Our Teams cover Carlow, Kilkenny, South Tipperary, Waterford and Wexford
All CDNTs include healthcare and social care professionals (HSCPs) who specialise in different areas of child development. Their aim is to support your child to thrive, grow and learn.
Our referral process
Children can be referred by their Parents or Guardian, Healthcare and Social Care Professionals, Primary Care services, GPs, Hospital, Education Professionals, Assessment Officers, Community Medical Doctors or Case Managers. A child's home address determines the CDNT they are referred to.
